 When to take? BEFORE BED & BETWEEN MEALS AS A SNACK G TEC 5 has a combination of fast and slow releasing proteins. It is ideal to take throughout the day and if you were to have a shake before bed then this would be the choice due to having a high casein blend which is naturally slower digesting than other proteins. G TEC 5 Protein is very versatile can be added to cooked porridge/smoothies or to make pancakes with.

Beta-alanine is one of the two building blocks for a molecule called carnosine. The other building block of carnosine is an amino acid called histidine. Carnosine is found in a high concentration in muscle tissue and has a number of key roles to play in muscular function. Beta-alanine enhances performance by increasing exercise capacity and decreasing muscle fatigue.
Taurine is the second most abundant Amino Acid in muscle tissue; Amino Acids are best known for being the so-called building blocks of muscle tissue. Taurine has important functions in the heart and brain. It helps support nerve growth,  and has shown promise for reducing symptoms of delayed onset muscle soreness and accelerating strength recovery following exercise
